Top 5 Air Travel Apps on Android in South America: Q2 2023

Throughout Q2 2023, the top 5 air travel apps on the Android platform in South America exhibited diverse performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

LATAM Airlines saw a relatively stable trend in weekly downloads, peaking at around 57K in mid-April and closing the quarter with approximately 53K downloads. Weekly active users showed a slight upward trend, starting at 253K and ending at roughly 272K by the end of June.

Azul experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of nearly 34K in mid-June. Weekly active users also followed an upward trajectory, growing from 109K at the beginning of the quarter to about 116K by the end of June.

ViajaNet: voos e hotéis had a notable spike in weekly downloads in early April with over 35K downloads, but saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, closing at around 14K. Weekly active users peaked at 86K in mid-May before declining to about 59K by the end of June.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker demonstrated a steady performance in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads remained around the 20K mark, with a notable increase to 40K in mid-April. Active users saw a peak of 262K in mid-April, maintaining a stable average of around 250K throughout the quarter. The app also generated consistent weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $4.5K in early April.

GOL | Airline Tickets maintained a steady download rate, peaking at around 22K in the last week of June. Active users showed a slight increase from 121K in early April to approximately 127K by the end of June.
